Lisze Bechtold

Author & Illustrator Lisze Bechtold is best known for her award-winning early reader series, Buster the Very Shy Dog. Her picture book, Sally and the Purple Socks, was a 2009 Children’s Choice book and included in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Appreciated by Reading Specialists for their emotional content, these character driven books were inspired by her many pets with big personalities.
